The Film will be screening at this year's Isle of Man Film Festival. Jim Henson’s 1986 film Labyrinth focuses on 16-year-old Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) traveling to the center of a maze in a fantasy world to rescue her brother Toby (Toby Froud) from Jareth the Goblin King (David Bowie), whom Sarah wished away to him in a moment of pique when she was unhappy at having to babysit. With the exception of Bowie and Connelly, most of the significant characters in the film are played by puppets produced by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Starring: David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, Frank Oz. The film revolves around 15 year-old Sarah's quest to reach the centre of an enormous otherworldly maze to rescue her infant brother Toby, who has been kidnapped by Jareth, the Goblin King (played by David Bowie). From the whimsical mind of Jim Henson, this musical fantasy film follows teen Sarah on an epic quest to save her baby brother from a kingdom of goblins.
